Our Science unit on Weather for this week is on how the Sun warms the Earth’s land, air and water. The students will participate in a Directed Inquiry Lab in which they will record and compare temperatures of three jars of sand and water and the connection to the objects being heated by the Sun. In Social Studies we will continue to learn about Transportation of Long Ago and inventions such as the airplane by the Wright Brothers and to the present time of travel into space.
